About Department

Brief Profile of the Department:

Department of Botany was established in the year 2010 with an aim to provide necessary learning & infra-structural facilities to the B.Sc. Bio-Science general degree course students. In the year 2015, B.Sc. Botany Honours course was newly introduced in the department.

Department of Botany is having two small laboratories to run the Botany (General) and Honourse Practical classes.

Departmental Out-reach activities (If any):
Department has established one small sized garden with plant species having medicinal values / food values which are used in different parts of the state. Students of this department are actively involved in maintaining and enrichment of the garden by planting new plant materials.
